Keischa Cash, DNP, FNP-BC

Mrs. Keischa Cash is originally from Syracuse, New York. She graduated from Syracuse University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2002 and then went on to get her Family Nurse Practitioner and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at SUNY Upstate Medical University with a minor in nursing education in 2008 graduating with Honors. She is nationally certified as a nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Mrs. Cash earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of South Florida in 2013, where she also completed credits towards her MBA. Mrs. Cash has published, and has been a blogger for the publication Advance for NPs and PAs on issues related to and affecting the DNP degree and she peer reviews articles for publication submitted to the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses Association. Mrs. Cash has been acknowledged by the International Nurses Association as a worldwide leader in healthcare in 2013, and earned honors as the “Top Nurse in Winter Haven, Florida” by the same organization.

Mrs. Cash was a National Health Service Corps Scholar and scholarship recipient, is a member of several professional nursing, business, and alumni organizations. She also has a special interest in health policy and issues that affect advanced practice nursing in relation to licensure, titling, and business entrepreneurship. She has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry previously working as a cardiovascular intensive care unit nurse, charge nurse, and nurse manager of two busy family practices.

She specializes in Medical and Cosmetic dermatology and has a special interest in acne, alopecia, and skin of color. She speaks Spanish as a second language, and enjoys sporting activities and spending time with family and friends.
