Meet Rebecca
Rebecca Foster is a National Board-Certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wheaton College and master’s degree in counseling from Mercer University. She then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Tampa.
Rebecca brings a unique perspective to her practice, having previously worked as a Disability Counselor, where she provided accommodations for students with exceptionalities. As a result, she has a unique skill set for working with disabled individuals and treating any dermatological co-morbidities. In addition, Rebecca worked as a Medical Assistant in Pediatrics, and as a mother of two, she is passionate about working with children and adolescents. Her areas of expertise include managing conditions such as acne, eczema, rashes, cysts, warts, moles, psoriasis, and skin cancer. She is also skilled in dermatologic surgery and skin cancer screening and treatment. Rebecca is an active member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, exemplifying her commitment to lifelong learning in medicine.
Outside the workplace, Rebecca is a decorated competitive swimmer. She holds the titles of NCAA All-American and United States Masters Swimming National Champion and was inducted into Wheaton College’s Hall of Honor. Rebecca’s ambition and self-discipline that she has demonstrated in the pool carry over into the workplace and her medical practice.
